The Idea
To design a smart marketplace to generate high quality leads for educational institutions while offering students complete information about these institutions so that they can make informed decisions and shortlist as required.
The Solution
While both parties can register on the site, their registered information is used to create a personalised list and provide a shortlist of institutions to consider based on criteria defined. The detailed content (supported by a CMS) answers most of the students’ relevant questions and provides tools for the institutions to keep it updated as well.
Success Factors
The success of the platform can be measured in two ways. For the students, the single, reliable and updated source of information of educational institutions helped them save time on research.
For educational institutions, the advantages included getting relevant leads, being able to develop a student panel after multiple online tests and have a transparent platform via which they can interact with the potential students.
Such marketplaces have tremendous growth options as one can continue to learn what the users need by tracking behavior and building interactive and engaging user journeys that can lead to growth of market share and thus revenue.
